CPI (Consumer Price Index)

The CPI (Consumer Price Index) is a monthly report issued by states such as the USA and it indicates the level of inflation and also the level of expenditure on goods and services within the country. The CPI shows the average price of consumer products and services from representative groups, i.e. the price of an average shopping basket of household goods.
