Dollar

The dollar is the currency unit of the USA and as such is one of the founding reserve currencies in the world. As such, it isn’t surprising that the term Dollar is first and foremost used to mean the American dollar. However, there are other countries which use this monetary unit for their own currencies, such as Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
