Ethereum

Ethereum is a decentralised platform for the creation of online services through blockchain technology and the use of smart contract functionality. It also provides a cryptocurrency unit called ether (ETH). Ethereum is interesting both for start-up companies and major software developers. Its defining feature is the special programming language it uses, which allows for the creation of decentralised applications with the desired parameters. Ethereum’s market cap is in the same region as that of Hewlett-Packard, American Airlines and Moody’s.
